▪ Language Arts - Literacy Place was the basis for my teaching.  It included spelling and vocabulary to go with every story.  Supplemental materials for testing and reading were also used.  Different types of writing techniques were used but the focus was on 6-Trait Writing.

02/01 – 05/01              Practicum Math and Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies

▪ Worked with gifted and talented third and fourth graders in a multi-age classroom.  I was able to integrate many different subjects.  One unit was on measurement using a mixture of watercolors and water.

▪ During language arts and social studies, students were learning about certain countries.  Students picked a country and researched them on their own.  Their task was to find a fairy tale from their country, make a mobile of a character in the fairy tale and dress in a costume of their chosen country.
